We at S.C.A.N believe that attendance uses a lot of time during class which can be used for learning. We know this from personal experience, as there have been many times when a substitute or just a regular teacher takes up to 5 minutes of class time every day. That is why we came up with the idea of automatic attendance. With extensive research from our team, we created this company to help both teachers and students.
At S.C.A.N, we not only increase instructional time by saving time on attendance, but our product is also vital in an emergency. In the unfortunate event of a disaster, our product will provide an accurate and updated location of all students around campus. This will help alleviate some of the stress of teachers and administrators during a crisis, because knowing where students are can help keep everyone safe.
